In the reasons for why Deeney received a touchline ban from the FA, it was revealed that he hurled insults at fourth official Andrew Hickman in his side's 2-1 defeat at Swindon. The former Forest Green Rovers boss did not long as manager of the League Two side and was dismissed following the touchline ban.

WHAT DEENEY SAID
Per The Athletic, It is alleged that Deeney said to Hickman: "if you weren’t a referee, I would punch your f***ing head in."
He then was sent off before he called Hickman: "A f***ing weasel."

Deeney lasted just six games in his first stint as a manger with the League Two side. The former Watford captain was named as player-manager before taking over on a permanent basis.

WHAT NEXT FOR DEENEY?
Whether Deeney wishes to try his hand in management again or not remains to be seen. For Forest Green Rovers though, they appear condemned to relegation. Relegation rivals Colchester United, now led by the Cowley brothers, picked up three points today to put Forest Green nine points adrift of safety.
