The FA have found both clubs guilty of behaving provocatively and in an 'improper' manner after the League One clash as players from both sides physically confronted each other on the pitch. The teams have been told to respond to the charges by December 30.

FA STATEMENT
A statement read: "Bristol Rovers and Wrexham have been charged following a mass confrontation during their EFL League One fixture on Saturday 21 December 2024.
"It's alleged that, following the conclusion of the fixture, both clubs failed to ensure that their players did not behave in a way which is improper/and or provocative.
"Both clubs have until Monday 30 December 2024 to respond to the charge."

Wrexham dropped points for the second consecutive League One game after Promise Omochere cancelled out Elliot Lee's 18th-minute strike with an 86th-minute equaliser. Before the Bristol clash, they had also suffered against Cambridge United when Dan Nlundulu scored a last-gasp equaliser in a 2-2 draw.
